HOW TO CRAWL
 

Gather the troops and get ready for another fun filled, whacky day at the World’s Greatest Pub Fest raising money for a worthy cause.

It’s easy to join fun and only takes 4 simple steps.       

STEP ONE  (most important step!)- Buy an official crawl card

Purchasing a crawl card will give you access to all our Pub Fest Benefits which include
• Access to ride the free event shuttle bus
• Eligible for random prize draws
• Eligible to enter into the Costume Competition with over $3000 of prizemoney                             
Buy a crawl card before the event so you’re ready to go on the day.  

Purchase your crawl card from:
- Our online shop – open now
-Maryborough Fraser Island Visitor Information Centre - City Hall on Kent Street

- Any participating pub prior to the event
- Any of the Registration Stations located at the entry to each venue on the day of the event
Or these cards can be purchased as part of a pack with other Pub Fest merchandise online.

Once you have purchased your card complete the tear off section and pop it into the barrel for your chance to WIN!

Don’t be an event bludger this year make sure you purchase your crawl card!

STEP TWO -  Get a team and create your costume

Get a group of mates together create your Pub Fest team. Plan your Pub Fest costume and join in the Pub Fest costume carnivale. There will be a costume competition throughout the day with $3000 of prize money to be won. Prizes will be awarded to Best dressed individual, best team with under 5 members, best team with over 5 members and of course People’s Choice award.

To be eligible to enter Costume Central all team members must have purchased an “Official Crawl Card”.

STEP THREE - Find a starting point

Make your way to any of the participating pubs just before the official starting time of 11:00am.  Maryborough's time cannon will fire on the dot of 11am in Wharf Street and the bells of St Paul's Anglican Church ring to officially kick off the day.

STEP FOUR – Join the fun with your mates

Get you card stamped – your pub fest card has a blank circle for each participating hotel. When you purchase an item from over the bar, the bar attendant will stamp your card.

If participants are purchasing drinks we encourage soft drink – alcoholic drinks cannot be taken outside the designated drinking areas – participants cannot walk between hotels holding a drink.
