COSTUME COMPETITION

There is always as incentive to get dressed up with some great cash prizes up for grabs!  The People's Choice Award will be decided from the 50 best costumes chosen by the Judges on the day then photos of the costumes will be posted on our Facebook page for public to vote.  The costume with the most likes will win that category.

Category 1 - People’s Choice Award

How to Register

The Costume Competition will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Pub Fest day.  The winners will be announced at 3pm on our Facebook page and the winners will be contacted via mobile.

People’s Choice Entrants
To enter, register and present your creations to Costume Central between 10am and 2pm, outside the Maryborough Court House, at the end of Richmond Street near Queens Park.  You will be required to “strut your stuff” on the catwalk and your photo taken by the Fraser Coast Chronicle's official photographer, the top 50 entrants as decided by the judges will be uploaded onto Facebook from Monday morning for viewers to vote. The photo with the most amounts of "likes" at 5pm on Friday 14th June 2013 will be declared the WINNER.

Team and Individual Entrants
To enter, you must register and present yourself to the Judges located at one of the outside pubs - Lamington Hotel, Westside Tavern or Carriers Arms Hotel between 10am and 2pm.

Remember, the Judges might be Judges but they may not always be honourable and might just be open to “bribes” (for charity)!
